I installed Vista 64 (fresh install) and Installed Studio 8 with no problem.  The 8.0.1 updater worked just fine, but the 8.0.2. updater never finishes ("the updater was interrupted before it could finish.....")

I installed Phakt, Impakt, and KTML4 with no problems, but MX Charts and the MX Kollection Help fail with the attached error.  At no time was Dreamweaver even open.  I even cold booted and tried to install having never opened Dreamweaver.

Currently the only things installed on this new Vista 64 install are Office 2007, Studio 8, and WAMP5 1.6.6.

Cheers

Chuck

Hello,

The MX Charts package contains the help file which must be installed in C:\Program Files (x86)\  which Vista might prevent. Also, please note that MX Kollection will not work properly if the 8.0.2 patch is not applied.

I'm afraid that we cannot help you with this, as we do not currently support Vista.

Regards,
Razvan RACASANU

I was able to fix it.

I had to enable the built in admin account in Vista and then login as the built in administrator.  Once I did that, MX Charts and MX Kollection Help loaded right up.

Cheers,

Chuck
