We can insert a single static SSI, an SSI from a static list, or an SSI from a database table based on a URL parameter. I need to insert an SSI based on a URL parameter, but from a recordset - not a table. Any ideas how I can do that?

Hi,

I am looking for a similar sort of thing. I am in the progress of building an Article website and the plan is to have 2 tables, 1 for categories and 1 of the actual articles.

Going forward i am planning to have the "keywords, titles, and descriptions" stores in the articles table and i need these to be displayed when a visitor hits that page i.e. for SEO.

From what i can understand i could potentially use the "ssi from tables" but that involves using specific pages and from my understanding it wont pull the keywords etc out for that particular article.

Please could someone advise me on how i could go forward with this project? i ideally need the site to be SEO compatible. Previously i have used "SSI from List" which has worked really well, but it involves alot of time adding keywords etc to each indiviual page in the Dreamweaver view.

I would like to be able to add the keywords etc when i add a new article to the site and then when the article is view within the browser it extracts the "keywords, title, description" etc. Has anyone built anything like this before in which you could give me some help??

Regards

Tom
