i have kollection, and for the user login, it seems i have to login TWICE. if i try to go to a restricted page it tells me i have to login, and when i do, i can see that page. but if i go to any other page, like click on any link, it will act as if i'm not logged in and it will make me sign in again. when i do, then it lets me completely browse the site as normal. but it is very frustrating for me and all my users to have to login twice to use the site.
also, when i click 'logout', and then go to a page that is restricted, i can still view it as if im not logged out. this may have to do with cookies, but still, if i click logout, shouldnt it not let me see stuff even if there is the login cookie?
**the first problem is the one i care about more**

Hi
I seem to be having a similar problem with a site i've built, user logs in, can view pages, then after creating a folder client has to log back in again.
Once logged back in again the problem seems to be OK and you can create folders as much as you like, very odd.
Did you ever find a solution to your issue?
Thanks
Lee

Update
I found out what was wrong on my system
the site url was http://www.ftpsystem.co.uk
I then had a header location function that pointed to http://ftpsystem.co.uk
The first time it hit it it requested a login again, then would be fine until you logged out and back in
Seems the login script sees it as a diffferent session or something, anyway adding the www fixed it
