XML Import-Export Forum :: XML Recordset export special chars

Starting with 17th May 2007, Adobe Systems will stop offering support for any version of the discontinued InterAKT products. As a result, we will not answer to new support incidents starting with May 17th, 2007. Pending support incidents will still be followed in order to be closed. The product forums will remain open and be transformed in user-to-user forums. The general forums will be made read-only and not allow new posts or comments.

Hello,

I have an recordset that I want to export to xml. The problem is that i have in the database field the Romanian special characters (şţăîâ). The xml file doesn't shows those characters during the recordset export sequence.

There is a chance to show them on the page ?

PS: The mysql field is utf8 romanian as the exported xml. The mysql has in the field the special characters....)

The generated xml file simply doesn't show the special characters. So insted of "mamă" it shows "mam"
